Overview of services

Sometimes parents and students know there is a difficulty, but don't quite know where to start.

I offer the following services:

• full dyslexia assessment (around three/four hours of assessment and follow-up report provided for £350)

• basic assessment of a specific area(s) of need e.g. spelling age, working memory, numeracy, to determine what the need or difficulty is (one hour for £60; hours required depends on individual case)

• consultation with school or college for exam access arrangements, dependent on individual cases and needs.

I will happily answer any questions or signpost a parent or student to relevant information, regardless of need. If I do not feel an assessment is appropriate, I will recommend alternative ways forward.

Testing takes place at my home on the outskirts of St Peter Port, near the Coutanchez College of FE site, with parking available on my driveway. If this is not suitable (including if you will be allergic to my Ragdoll cats!) I will consider testing at an alternative (quiet) location.

As I work full-time I am unable to test during the school day, except during holidays.
